No. However, the internal corners are rounded for easy cleaning.
Is there a weight capacity for the shoulder straps on the Hopper® M15/M30 Backpack Cooler?
No, but Hopper® Backpack Coolers have been durability tested, and the shoulder straps will comfortably carry loaded contents.
What is the best ice-to-content ratio on my Hopper® M15/M30 Cool Bag?
For best thermal performance we recommend a 2:1 ice-to-content ratio.
Are there any tips and tricks for breaking in the new Hopper® M15 Backpack Cooler?
No. Fabrics & construction are the same as the Hopper® M30 Soft Backpack Cooler, just new smaller sizes.
Can you store warm contents in the Hopper® M15/M30 Backpack Cooler?
Yes. The same insulation that keeps the cooler cold also keeps the heat.
How do I locate my registration qr code for the Hopper® M15/M30 Backpack Cooler?
Your YETI product has a small sticker with a 12-digit serial number and QR code. It’s out of plain sight, but easy to find. This will be different from the product UPC code that starts in either "8888" or "100".
What replacement parts will be available at launch for the new Hopper® M15 Backpack Cooler?
Replacement parts aren't currently available.
Will the new Hopper® M15 Backpack Cooler have the same "ammonia" odour thjat customers have referenced from other Cool Bags?
No. We updated the foam in all of our Cool Bags to remove the “ammonia” odor caused by heat and can be common in enclosed spaces.
Do the new Hopper® Coolers with Magshield Closure look different in any way or have any difference in ice retention?
We have fully encapsulated the magnets within the thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) strip, so the only visual difference is inside the bag on the backside of the TPU strip. And of course, they have the same legendary ColdCell™ Insulation with closed-cell foam technology to lock the cold in.
What is TPU? Is it a form of PFAS?
TPU is thermoplastic polyurethane and it does not contain per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
Does the new TPU strip placement have any effect on ice retention?
No, the new TPU strip has no effect on ice retention.

Is the strap on the Hopper® M15/M30 backpack cooler removeable?
Nope. The straps are sewn into the backpack cooler and are not removable.
How many bottles of wine does the Hopper® M15/M30 backpack cool bag carry?
The Hopper® M15 can fit up to 7 bottles of wine, and the Hopper® M30 up to 13. They’re also tall enough to fit them standing upright.
Are Hopper® M15/M30 backpack coolers waterproof?
The exterior of all Hopper® Soft Coolers is made with waterproof materials so no worries if you get stuck in a rainstorm or sit it down in the mud.
Will Hopper® M15/M30 backpack coolers float?
Nope. So don't drop it in the deep sea.
Can I pack the new Hopper® M15 soft cooler with Magshield Closure with food?
Yes. We recommend using YETI Ice Sheets™ to keep your food cold, safe, and dry
